{"id":5445,"date":"2025-05-13T00:21:54","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T00:21:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/networking-with-the-life-resland-project\/"},"modified":"2025-06-23T14:59:55","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T14:59:55","slug":"networking-with-the-life-resland-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/en\/networking-with-the-life-resland-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Networking with the LIFE Resland project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 10 May, in Cascais, project manager Henrique Mira Godinho had the pleasure of taking part in a LIFE Resland event, which organised its first social walk in the morning and a round table debate in the afternoon with various stakeholders from the project coordinated by Cascais Ambiente: Civil Protection, ICNF, landowners and other projects and organisations.<\/p>\n<p>After a few meetings and several invitations, the LIFE Maronesa team was finally able to visit the maronesas that migrated from the Serra do Alv\u00e3o to the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. In addition to the walk and round table, our team member took the opportunity to visit the grazing and prescribed fire intervention areas within the Park.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1195\" height=\"800\" class=\"wp-image-5441 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC_0335-min-1195x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC_0335-min-1195x800.jpg 1195w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC_0335-min-598x400.jpg 598w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC_0335-min-768x514.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC_0335-min-1536x1028.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC_0335-min-2048x1371.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1195px) 100vw, 1195px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The morning was spent on a pleasant and well-organised walk in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, where the participants, made up of landowners, volunteers, local authorities and interested citizens, were able to get a closer look at the forestry work carried out during the project&#8217;s first year.
