{"id":5367,"date":"2025-05-01T16:57:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T16:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/visit-of-the-paisactivo-project\/"},"modified":"2025-06-19T17:58:26","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T17:58:26","slug":"visit-of-the-paisactivo-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/en\/visit-of-the-paisactivo-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit of the PAISACTIVO project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 29 April, AguiarFloresta was invited to receive the first technical visits from the PAISACTIVO project, a consortium made up of the partners CIM do T\u00e2mega e Sousa, the General Department of Territory, the Municipality of Bai\u00e3o and the Juana de Vega Foundation, who were present for the visit.<\/p>\n<p>With a busy day divided up with visits to various livestock and forestry projects in the municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the delegation gathered at the Casa da Pecu\u00e1ria interpretive centre, where they were welcomed by coordinator Duarte Marques, project manager Henrique Mira Godinho and the host of the Cabanes community, Maronesa breeder Ant\u00f3nio Manuel. As well as presenting the Casa da Pecu\u00e1ria project, the three introduced the various dynamics of the Vila Pouca de Aguiar municipality linked to livestock and pastoralism, the main challenges facing the region and the players and partners in the various rural and environmental development initiatives in the municipality and in adjacent Ribeira de Pena, Vila Real and Mondim de Basto municipalities.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1195\" height=\"800\" class=\"wp-image-5364 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-min-1-1195x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-min-1-1195x800.jpg 1195w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-min-1-598x400.jpg 598w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-min-1-768x514.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-min-1-1536x1028.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/lifemaronesa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-min-1-2048x1371.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1195px) 100vw, 1195px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To round off the morning, the participants had the opportunity to meet the main herd of Casal da Bou\u00e7a at the top of the Souto e Outeiro common land and breeder Tommy Ferreira.
